Despite the significant health benefits of regular physical activity, 78% of Australian adults aged 18 to 64 do not meet recommended activity levels, greatly increasing their risk of mortality and cardiovascular disease.

Exploring both primary prevention and the impact of exercise in cardiac rehabilitation our experts will uncover the latest benefits of exercise in enhancing cardiovascular health, reducing cardiac inflammatory markers, and playing a crucial role in secondary prevention for individuals with pre-existing heart conditions. “Let’s get physical” will delve into the latest evidence and innovative strategies, equipping you with the tools and resources to enhance cardiovascular risk factor management in primary healthcare settings.

The session will include one hour of live presentations followed by an extended 30-minute Q&A with the expert panel.
